The portion depends on your dog’s appetite, metabolism, exercise level,
and stamina.
You have to improvise in the beginning.

A good rule is:

You should feel your dog’s ribs, but not see them.

(If your dog is older than 7 years, please feed cottage cheese or plain
yogurt instead of meat.)
